This is a concept for a succulent plant. In order to keep the water flowing through it's leaves in the below-freezing temperatures of the mountains, the plants has a net of fibres that reflective ice crystals form on. These crystals produce heats by multiplying the sunlight. Excess water pools at the base of the plant, forming puddles that are very useful for mountain animals to drink from.
