Well here it is the almighty Sharilla, skinned and animated, i do regret one thing though and not putting in eyes first before doing anything, when i tried the animation and model would just completey screw up, so i painted one in and tried to make it look blended in as much as possible. I would have worked on it a bit more with the skinning and colouring but with all deadlines coming up for assignments i was doing two things at once with my laptop doing one thing and my computer doing another.
Edit: In a new location \\gonzo\Project Temp\Eninroth\Art\Models\Liam Davis Sharilla Complete Model
Sharilla almost completed, just working on the arms at the moment and legs, and then I'll be able to add the remaining features like the ice crystals, teeth and eyes.
Righty O after some great help from TJ finally finished Sharilla, it's almost as a big as an elephant, it lives like a polar bear with its different layers of fur to keep it warm with the nature of a shark and I’ve given it ice crystals on parts of its body to have it blend into our environment.
Like all gorillas, Sharilla will defend what’s rightfully his/hers, its threatening defence move is it pounding its chest or the ground to show its dominance against a threat, if it comes to a show down battle, Sharilla will charge towards its enemy and bash into it with its large shoulders hoping to knock it down, it will then use its strength to break/crush its enemy and it will even use its ice crystals growing out of its hands as weapons, carving up its enemy, it will mainly try to break the threats neck with its razor sharp teeth dinging into its skin and using its powerful jaws to crush its wind pipe.
Sharilla's legs is the only part of its body without fur as its skin is a dark blue and thick like leather, this is because of Sharilla not using its legs and mainly its arms to move around, the legs don't get enough energy running through to keep them warm, you can basically say its legs suffered frost bite and then ice completely froze into a barrier for its legs not to be affected by the cold, their legs have pretty much not suffered any damage at all.
Also began to start the 3D model and here's my model sheets for it.
Sorry couldn't be there today, woke up with pains in my back, probably from just sleeping in an awkward spot but at the moment still feeling some pain. Anyway though just rough drawing with a dingo style kind of head for my Sharilla, still working on model sheet of it, just taking some time because of the front view of its head.
After getting a few suggestions on my sharilla in the end it didnt look like a creature that would roam around so i edited it to be more like a beast then a mole like figure with its head always down.
Also gave it some shoulder and a neck to make it more suitable for the environment.
I managed to draw up the front view for the sharilla but hopefully i'll get the rest drawn up by next monday
