After getting a few suggestions on my sharilla in the end it didnt look like a creature that would roam around so i edited it to be more like a beast then a mole like figure with its head always down.
Also gave it some shoulder and a neck to make it more suitable for the environment.
I managed to draw up the front view for the sharilla but hopefully i'll get the rest drawn up by next monday

try giving it a snout like a dog, that would certainly hide the shark head but only if you make sure the skin is similar to that of a shark but if you do that then how dose it keep warm? you could go fur but that could be boring and un-shark like in this instance or perhaps a longer neck instead of a snout? hummmmm

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing it has a lot of fats or muscles on it that allow it to keep warm in the harsh conditions?
ReplyDeleteBut if we're thinking of ideas to keep it warm.. maybe the pores on its skin release a thick like mucus all over the body? keeping it warm, but also very slippery and oily? which allowes for fast movement upon the ground when sliding?
Just a thought.

i dont mind what you do(as long as it works) and i may be project leader but your art work is your own i dont want to tell you what to do i only want to make suggestions and you should decide what is what, i only have a say when the idea is complete and it is presented to me, of course i can alert you before it is complete but hey id prefer your art be yours not my ideas drawn someone else... hope im giving the right message
ReplyDeleteRighto, I'll go with the polar bear thingy ma jiggy with the fur/muscle/fat etc, i also might go with the dog like head because i can see it showing a little more aggression than the shark like head i have now and that's what i really want for this creature since its quite big.
